Guido Benvenuto got a degree in Philosophy in First University of Rome (Sapienza) in 1985, PhD in Experimental Pedagogy in 1990, University Researcher since 1996, Associate Professor since 2005 in general and social pedagogy. He is part of the Teaching Board of the Doctorate in “Social Psychology, Development and Educational Research”. He is Erasmus manager for the Pedagogy area of the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology.

The main research activities concern: the planning of interventions aimed at the recovery and prevention of early school leaving at the level of individual institutes and networks of schools, school and university orientation; collaboration with educational institutions for the development of tools for measuring and evaluating process and products in the school field; the development of training courses for teachers in services.
